A Cadaver ChristmasWhen horror fans think of a “Christmas Horror film” they immediately think of the million “Killer Santa” films, but what about zombies huh? Why cant there be zombies for your yuletide season? Such a film however does exist and it is the wonderfully fun indie zombie film “A Cadaver Christmas.”

United by terrifying and bizarre circumstances on Christmas Eve a tough janitor, an annoying drunk, a level-headed bartender, an asshole former cop and his perverted perp, and a student security guard must fight to undo a college professor’s work. A dark force is at work in the cadaver lab at the university this Christmas, and this unconventional band of heroes are the only hope the world has against an army of living corpses that are quickly recruiting new members. The undead have been given the gift of life and it’s up to the janitor to take it back, because for him a Janitor cannot leave a mess behind.

I know there are ALOT of bad indie zombie films out there, believe me, but this little Christmas gem is actually the exception. How often do you get a Christmas zombie movie? Not often, but that is not the only thing that makes this movie worth your time. The characters are all enjoyable and the chemistry between them is what really makes the movie. The back and forth argument between the janitor and the cop as to whether they are fighting ”cadavers” or “zombies” is quite hilarious. Also, not only are the characters and the chemistry between them good but there’s quite a number of scenes that are fun and have the red stuff flying, especially the final battle against the remaining horde of “Cadavers.” There is also a twist at the end which will make you say to yourself “oooooooh that blows”.

So if you want to take a break from all the killer Santa horror films this Christmas season then track down “A Cadaver Christmas.”
